Who needs this Cummins EGR pressure sensor manual

This manual is for diesel technicians, fleet maintenance shops, and workshop owners diagnosing Fault Code 3137, SPN 5019 FMI 4, where the ECM detects EGR orifice pressure sensor signal voltage below 0.25 volts for 5 seconds. It helps verify whether the fault is caused by the sensor, supply circuit, return circuit, signal circuit, engine harness, ECM connector, ECM calibration, or ECM response.

The procedure uses INSITE™ electronic service tool readings and guided tests. It includes checks for Fault Code 352, active or inactive Fault Code 3137 status, sensor connector pin condition, 4.75 to 5.25-VDC supply and return voltage, jumper-wire circuit response, and Fault Code 3136 response during signal circuit testing. It also explains that the amber CHECK ENGINE lamp and/or MIL can illuminate when the diagnostic fails, the EGR valve will be closed, and engine torque can be reduced if operation continues with the fault active.
