Cummins M11 injector circuit checks
The injector solenoid valves are actuated by the ECM to control fuel metering and timing, each connected by a supply and a return wire; the normally open valve closes only on an electrical pulse during injection. On the M11 the actuator harness is in two pieces: the external portion runs from the C connector port in the ECM to the backside of the rocker lever housing, where it meets the internal harness at a 12-pin connector, and the internal harness runs along the inside of the rocker lever housing on the right side with six connectors spaced along its length. Troubleshooting inspects these connectors and the injector pigtail wiring for shorts and damage.
