SPN 3556 FMI 18 troubleshooting steps
After shutting down, applying the parking brake and chocking the wheels, you inspect the Hydrocarbon doser block and fuel lines and the exhaust system for leaks, including the aftertreatment V-band clamps. Resistance is then measured across the DOC outlet and inlet temperature sensors at the pigtail. Depending on the result you replace a sensor or the doser block, purge the doser, and finish with a parked regeneration, retaining the log file if a fault returns.
