This circuit fault reports a high supply voltage on the coolant valve driver. The procedure begins by disconnecting the coolant valve and inspecting its harness connector for bent, spread or corroded pins.
With the key on and codes cleared, the technician watches whether the fault returns. If it does, the ACM 120-pin connector is disconnected and codes cleared again: if the fault stays active the ACM is replaced, and if it clears the harness short to battery between ACM pin 19 and pin 2 of the coolant valve connector is repaired. If the fault did not return, components are reconnected one at a time until the failing part is identified.
