This circuit fault reports a low supply voltage on the DEF coolant valve driver. Diagnosis starts by disconnecting the DEF coolant valve and inspecting its harness connector for bent, spread or corroded pins.
With the key on and codes cleared, the technician checks whether the fault returns. If it does, the ACM 120-pin connector is disconnected and codes cleared again: if the fault stays active the ACM is replaced, and if it clears the harness short to ground between ACM pin 19 and pin 2 of the DEF coolant valve connector is repaired. If the fault did not return, components are reconnected one at a time until the failing part is found.
