HC doser fuel line diagnostic guide
After safing the vehicle, the technician replaces the fuel compensation pressure sensor on a Gen 1 system or the metering unit on a Gen 2 system, following the relevant removal procedure in Power Service Literature. A purge routine is run next, limited to three attempts to clear all air from the lines. A parked regeneration then verifies the repair; if the code stays active, the regeneration log is retained and the Detroit Customer Support Center is contacted for further instruction.
