The diagnostic runs continuously when the ignition is on. The VTG turbocharger actuator (L037) sets the code when the reference point is not detected, the end stops are out of range, the calibration procedure with DAVIE cannot be finished correctly, or an internal actuator failure is detected. The DTC changes to inactive after the ignition is keyed off and on again and the diagnostic runs and passes.
