Description
Perkins EST is a laptop-based service application for electronically controlled Perkins engines. It helps technicians read active and recorded fault codes, review logged events, examine engine operating information and save product status reports. Supported diagnostic tests provide additional evidence when investigating a problem instead of relying on a fault code alone.
The software connects to the engine through a compatible communication adapter and the appropriate machine connection. It is useful for workshops and equipment fleets servicing Perkins-powered machines, but an engine must have a supported electronic control system. Confirm the engine serial number, EST release, adapter and available service functions before payment. Licensing, installation and support should be specified in the agreed quote.
