It gives technicians access to service and parts information for supported Cat equipment, helping them identify components, understand systems and follow the appropriate maintenance or repair procedure. Depending on the supplied edition and data coverage, available information can include parts illustrations, troubleshooting material, schematics and disassembly or assembly instructions.
SIS is an information resource; it does not replace a diagnostic connection to the equipment. Cat Electronic Technician serves that separate diagnostic role.
